Yet another weekend and yours truly on duty, again. Why you
might ask? A little matter of the Bedford Classic Triathlon { 1500m swim - 40km
bike - 10km run } and a few hundred participants as well. An early start on a
bright August morning, 7a.m. actually as all prepared for the start at 8 a.m..
Good to see some Harriers participating, including Charles Didier and Simon
North to name but two. Yours truly was located at the Cople turn to direct the
mini triathlon participants, which kicked off at 9 a.m. I managed to capture
some of the action on camera. What a cracking day as the majority went the
distance, and a fitting finale via Santaniellos in Newnham Street later that
same day. Well done to all who went the distance, to all who made the event a
reality and to the weather for blessing us with glorious
sunshine. Phew!
