25th March 2007: Veronica Singleton set a new LV45 club best time at Sandy. Veronica's time of 71:22 was a 22 seconds improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 71:44 which was set by Carol Cooper at Swineshead in September 2006.

3rd December 2006: Andrea Ward set a new club LV40 best time for 10m at Nene Valley. Andrea's time of 67:51 was a 1 min 48 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 69:39 which was set by Veronica Singleton at Sandy in 2005.

25th November 2006: Bob Wells set a new club MV60 best time for the 5 mile at Wolverton. Bob's time of 31:22 was a 3 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 31:25 which was set by Maurice Crook at Wolverton in November 1999.

19th November 2006: Bob Wells  and Anna Litchfield set new club MV60 and LV35 best times for the Half Marathon at St Neots. Bob's time of 1:24:29 was a 7 mins 36 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 1:32:05 which was set by Maurice Crook at the Gt North in October 1999. Anna's time of 1:29:17 was a 50 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 1:30:07 which was set by Julie Philips at Stevenage in November 2001.

15th November 2006: Bob Wells  set a new MV60 for 10m at Henlow. Bob's time of 64:11 was a 1 min 3 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 65:14 which was set at Maurice Crook at Bishop Storford in October 1999.

22nd October 2006: Bob Wells and Donna McEwen set new club MV60 and senior lady best times for the Marathon at Abingdon. Bob's time of 3:00:47 was a 13 mins 18 secs improvement on the previous best for  the MV60 age category of 3:14:05 which was set by Maurice Crook at Luton in 1999. Donna's time of 3:09:17 was a 1 min  10 secs improvements on the previous best for the senior lady age category of 3:10:27 which was set by Nicky Klabe at London in 2002.

1st October 2006: Andrea Ward  set a new LV40 best for the Half marathon at the Gt North. Andrea's time of 1:29:31 was a 1 min 33 secs improvement on the previous best for the distance of 1:31:04 which was also set by Andrea at Grunty Fen in September 2006.

11th August 2006: Andrea Ward and Carol Cooper both set new 5m club best times at Cranfield.  Andrea's LV40 time of 31:55 was a 55 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category of 32:48 which was set by Veronica Singleton at Blisworth in August 2002. Carol's time of 33:42 was a 15 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category of 33:57 which was set by Veronica Singleton at Banbury in June 2006.

23rd March 2006: Morgan Walters set a new MV40 Marathon best time of 2:46:14 at London. Morgan's time was a 2 mins 32 secs improvement on the previous best for the distance and age category of 2:48:46 whic h was set by Richard Dorman at Luton in December 2005.

12th March 2006: Veronica Singleton set a new LV45 best for the Half Marathon at Milton Keynes. Veronica's time of 1:29:35 was a 68 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 1:30:43 which was also set by Veronica and St Neots in 2005.

4th January 2006: Richard Dorman and Andrea Ward both set new 5k club best times in the 2nd race of the Balancingblues 5k series. Andrea's time of 20:14 was a 2 secs improvement on the previous LV40 best for distance of 20:16 which was set by Veronica Singleton at Cranfield in 2002. Richard's time of 17:42 was a 35 secs improvement on the previous MV45 best of  18:17 which was set by Richard Piron at Cranfield in 2000.

14th December 2005: Veronica Singleton set a new LV45 best time of 20:07 at Stevenage. Veronica's run was a 1min 21secs improvement on the previous best for the age and distance of 21:28 which was set by Christine Armstrong at Blisworth in May 2000.

4th December 2005: Richard Dorman set a new MV40 best time for the Marathon at Luton. Richard's time of 2:48:46 was a four minute improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 2:52:48 which was set by Phil Barlow at Huntingdon in March 1987. It was Richard's first marathon.

20th November 2005: Two club best times by  Morgan Walters and Veronica Singleton were set for the Half Marathon at St Neots . Morgan's time of 1:16:51 was a 14 secs improvement on the previous MV40 best for the distance of 1:17:05 which was also set by Morgan at Gt Barford in 2001. Veronica's time of 1:30:43 was a 12 mins 15 secs improvement on the previous LV45 best for the distance of 1:42:58 which was set by Christine Armstrong at Milton Keynes in 2000

6th November 2005: Veronica Singleton set a new LV45 Half Marathon best of 1:34:32 at Stevenage. Veronica's time was a 8 mins 26 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 1:42:58 which was set by Christine Armstrong at Milton Keynes in July 2000.

2nd October 2005: Veronica Singleton set a new LV45 10k best of 41:44 at Standalone. Veronica's time was a 3 mins 40 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance which was set by Christine Armstrong at Sharnbrook in May 2000.

22nd May 2005: Deirdre Bethune set a new LV55 best for the 5K at Blisworth. Deirdre's time of 23:33 was a 1 min 37 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 25:10 which was set by Jackie Keenan at the Doug Anderson 5k in July 2004

3rd May 2005: Two new club best times were set at the Silverstone 10k. Firstly, Veronica Singleton improved her own LV40 best time of 41:28, which was set at Silverstone in 2003 by two secs to finish in 41:26. Secondly, Deirdre Bethune improved the LV55 best by 1 mins 58 secs to 48:40. The previous LV55 best of 50:38 had been set by Jackie Keenan  at Flitwick in April. Jackie's Silverstone time of 49:29 was also more than a minute inside the old record.

17th April 2005: Three new club best times set were set at the London Marathon.  Firstly, Graham King set a new MV50 best of 2:54:34. Graham's time was a 3 mins 15 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 3:57:49 which was set by Maurice Crook at St Albans back in 1992. Secondly, Deirdre Bethune set a new LV55 best time of 3:53:41. Deirdre's time was a 1 hour 27 mins 2 secs improvement over the previous best of 5:17:43 which was set by Margaret Martin at Paris in 2003. Finally, Larry Corkery established a MV65 club best of 5:03:39. No previous best time for this distance by a MV65 had been recorded.

10th April 2005: Jackie Keenan set a new LV55 club best time for the 10k at Flitwick. Jackie's time of 50:28 was a 41 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance of 51:09 which was also set by Jackie at St Ives in 2003.

3rd April 2005: Veronica Singleton and Deirdre Bethune both set new club best times for 10 miles at Sandy. Veronica's time of 69:39 was a 59 seconds improvement on the previous LV40 best for the distance of 70:38 which was also set by Veronica at Hemel in 2002. Deirdre's time of 81:45 was a 27 minutes 24 seconds on the previous LV55 best for the distance of 109:09 which was set by Margaret Martin at Hemel in 2002.

12th December 2004: Deirdre Bethune set a new LV55 best time for the Half marathon at Wootton. Deirdre's time of 1:49:22 was a 4 mins 31 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category and distance which was also set by Deirdre at Milton Keynes in July 2004.

5th December 2004: Kevin Willett set a new MV40 best time for 10 mile at Nene Valley. Kevin's time of 57:40 was an improvement of 53 secs on the previous best for the age category and distance which was set by Phil Barlow back in 1987 at Cople.

14th November 2004: Bob Wells set a new MV55 best time for the Half Marathon at St Neots. Bob's time of 1:22:03 was an improvement of almost a minute on the previous best for the age category and distance of 1:23:04 which was set by Maurice Crook at Ramsey in June 1996. Bob's age graded time of 85.96% was also one of the highest ever recorded by a Harrier.

14th November 2004: Veronica Singleton set a new LV40 best time of 1:32:24 at the St Neots Half Marathon. Veronica's time was a 2 mins 12 secs improvement on the previous best for the distance of 1:34:36 which was also set by Veronica at Gt Barford in December 2001.

28th July 2004: Jackie Keenan set a new LV55 best of 25:10 at the Doug Anderson Memorial 5k. Jackie's time was a 4 mins 02 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category & distance which was set by Margaret Martin at Cranfield in July 2001.

25th July 2004: Deirdre Bethune set a new LV55 club best of 1:53:52 for the half marathon at Milton Keynes. Deirdre's time of 1:53:52 was a 24 mins 37 secs improvement on the previous best for the age category & distance of 2:18:31 which was set by Margaret Martin at Gt Barford in December 2002.

18th July 2004: Jackie Keenan set a new club LV55 best for the 10k at St Ives. Jackie's time of 51:07 was a nine second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 51:16 which was set by Deirdre Bethune at Weedon in June of this year.

9th July 2004: Martin Leach set a new MV60 club best time for 5K at Cranfield. Martin's time of 19:17 was an improvement of 1min 21 secs on the previous best for the age category and distance of 20:38 which was set by Colin Tranter at Cranfield in 2002. Also at Cranfield, Bill Billington clipped four seconds of the previous MV65 5k best with a run of 22:16. The previous best of 22:20 had been set by David Sutcliffe at the British Vets 5k in August 2001.

8th June 2004: Deirdre Bethune established her second LV55 club best time in the last two weeks. Deirdre's time of  51:16 in the Weedon 10 was more than nine minutes faster than the previous best for the category of 60:42 which was set by Margaret Martin at St Ives in 2001.

26th May 2004: Two new club best times (and the first of the year) were set at the Rockingham 5. Firstly, Deirdre Bethune improved the LV55 best over the distance by almost 12 minutes to finish in 37:47. The previous club LV55 club best of 49:36 had been set by Margaret Martin at Blisworth in August 2002. Secondly, Kevin Willett improved his own MV40 5 mile club best by 22 seconds to finish in 27:33. The previous MV40 club best of 27: 55 had been set at Blisworth in August 2003.

November 16th 2003: Graham King reduced the MV50 half marathon best once again at St Neots. Graham's time of 1:20:08 was a 19 second improvement on his Liverpool run of 1:20:27 in October.

October 12th 2003: Graham King set his fourth MV50 best of the year with his run in the Liverpool Half Marathon. Graham's time of 1:20:27 was a  30 second improvement on the previous MV50 half marathon best time of 1:20:57 which was set by Maurice Crook at Camberley back in March 1992.

September 7th 2003:  Graham King set his third MV50 club best time of the year at the Garden City 10. Graham's time for the event of 60:18 was a 26 second improvement on the previous MV50 club best 10 mile time of 60:44 which was set by Phil Barlow at Nene Valley back in 1995.

August 8th 2003: Two new club best times were set at the Blisworth 5. Firstly, Kevin Willet set a new MV40 best of 27:55. Kevin's time was a 1 min 40 secs improvment on the previous MV40 best of 29:30 which was set by Steve Gaunt at Blisworth in August 2000. Secondly Graham King set a new MV50 best of 29:38. Graham's time was a 18 secs improvement on the previous MV50 best of 29:58 which was also set by Graham at Harborough in June 2003.

July 11th 2003: Two new club 5k best times were set at Cranfield. Firstly, Kevin Willett established a new MV40 best for the distance of 16:43. Kevin's time was a 45 second improvement on the previous MV40 5K best of 17:28 which was set by Paul Langford at Cranfield in July 2000. Secondly, Graham King's set a new MV50 best for the distance of 17:57. Graham's time was a 1 minute 5 seconds improvement on the previous MV50 best of 19:04 was set by Graham again at Blisworth in May 2003.

June 24th 2003: Graham King reduced the MV50 5-mile best time for the second time in a week at Harborough. Graham finished the race in a time of 29:56 which was a 8 second improvement on his Banbury 5 time of 30:08 which he set on the 17th June.

June 17th 2003: Graham King set a new MV50 club best time for the 5m at Banbury, Graham's time of 30:06 was a 63 second improvement on the previous best for the distance which was set by Colin Bennetts at Corby in May 2000.

May 16th 2003: Graham King set a new MV50 club best time for the 5k at Blisworth. Graham's time of 19:04 was a 51 second improvement on the previous club best for the distance of 19:55 which was set by Colin Bennetts at Bedford Park in July 2000.

May 6th 2003: Veronica Singleton improved the LV40 10k best time at Silverstone with a time of 41:28. This was a nine second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 41:37 which was also set by Veronica at Milton Keynes in July 2002.

April 13th 2003:Muriel Moore established a new LV60 best time for the marathon of  5:12:29 at London. It was Muriel's first marathon run.

April 6th 2003: Margaret Martin established a new LV55 best time for the marathon of 5:17:43 at Paris.

March 2nd 2003: Teresa Munns set a new LV50 best time for 10m at Ostende. Teresa's time of 76:20 was a 3 second improvement for the previous 10m best of 76:23 which was also set by Teresa at Swineshead in September 2002.

31st December 2002: In the final race of the year, Teresa Munns set a new LV50 best time for the 10k at Ely.  Teresa's time of 45:49 was a four second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 45:53 which was also set by Teresa at Whittlesey in April 2002

8th December 2002: Margaret Martin set a new LV55 best time for the half marathon at Gt Barford. Margaret's time of 2:18:31 was a 14 minute improvement on the previous LV55 best for the distance of 2:32:00 which was also set be Margaret at Newcastle in September 2001

8th September 2002: Teresa Munns set a new LV50 best time at Swineshead. Teresa's time of 76:23 was a 29 second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 77:02 which was also set by Teresa at Nene Valley in December 2001. Teresa has improved all the LV50 best times from 5k to half marathon this year.

1st September 2002: Nicky Klabe set a new senior ladies half marathon best time of 1:21:38 at Liverpool. Nicky's time was a 63 second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 1:22:41 which was also set by Nicky at Milton Keynes in July 2002.

9th August 2002: Two new club 5-mile best times were set at Blisworth. Firstly, Veronica Singleton set a new lv40 best of 32:49. This was a one minute 40 second improvement on the previous lv40 best for the distance of 34:30 which was set by Veronica at Blisworth in August 2000. Secondly, Margaret Martin set a new lv55 best time of 49:36. The previous best of 50:12 was set at Blisworth in 2001 also by Margaret.

21st July 2002: Nicky Klabe set a new senior ladies best time for the Half Marathon at Milton Keynes. Nicky's time of 1:22:41 was a 16 second improvement on the previous best for the distance (1:22:57) which was also set by Nicky at Liverpool in September 2001.

12th July 2002: Four new club best times for the 5k were set at Cranfield. Firstly Nicky klabe set a new senior ladies best of 18:07. This beat the previous best of 18:12 which has also been set by Nicky at Cranfield in 2001. Secondly, Veronica Singleton set an new lv40 best time of 20:16. The previous best was 20:40 and was set by Veronica at Stevenage in December 2000. Thirdly, Teresa Munns set a new lv50 best of 22:07. This was a 26 second improvement on the previous best of 22:33 which was set by Teresa at Blisworth in May 2002.  Finally, Colin Tranter set a new mv60 best of 20:38. This was a 30 second improvement on the previous best of 21:08 which was set by Colin at Blisworth in May 2002.

9th July 2002: Two new club best times were set at the Milton Keynes 10k. Firstly, Nicky Klabe reduced the Senior Lady best time by 15 seconds to 37:30. The previous best of 37:45 had been set by Nicky at Silverstone in May 2002. Secondly, Veronica Singleton knocked almost two minutes of the LV40 best time to finish in 41:37. The previous best of 43:26 had been set by Veronica at Silverstone in May 2001.

19th May 2002: Teresa Munns set a new LV50 best time for 5 miles at Marlow. Teresa's time of 36:45 was a 65 second improvement on the previous best for the distance of 37:50 which was set at Corby in 1999  by Deirdre Bethune.

10th May 2002: Two new club best times were set at the Blisworth 5k. Teresa Munns set her third new LV50 club best time of 2002 with a run of 22:33. Teresa's performance beat the previous club best time for the age category of 23:39 which was set by Jacky Keenan at Cranfield in July 2000. Colin Tranter also set a new MV60 club best of 21:08. Colin's run was a 23 second improvement on the previous best for the age group of 21:31 which was set by Bill Billington at Vauxhall in August 2000.

7th May 2002:  Nicky Klabe set a new senior ladies 10k best time of 37:45 at Silverstone. Nicky's time was a 38 second improvement on the previous best of 38:23 which was also set by Nicky at Milton Keynes in July 2001.

14th April 2002: Three new club marathon best times were set at London. Firstly, Nicky Klabe set a new senior ladies club best time of 3:10:27. The previous record of 3:26:30 stood for more than 10 years having been set by Avril Thomas at Stratford in April 1991. Secondly Veronica Singleton set a new LV40 best time of 3:18:36. This was a 12 minute improvement on the previous LV40 record of 3:29:58 which was also set by Veronica at Dublin in October 2000. Finally, Deirdre Bethune set a new LV50 best time of 3:49:23. This was 8 minutes 42 secs faster than the previous LV50 best of 3:58:12 which was set by Deirdre at Chicago in October 1998.

1st April 2002: Teresa Munns set a new club lv50 best time for 10k at Whittlesey. Teresa's time of 45:53 was a 2 min 15 sec improvement on the previous best of 48:08 which was set by Deirdre Bethune at Milton Keynes in July 1999.

10th March 2002: Two new club 10 mile best times were set at Hemel. Firstly, Veronica Singleton set a new LV40 best time for the distance of 70:48. The previous best was 72:42 and had been set by Christine Armstrong at Cople in December 1996. Margaret Martin also set a new LV55 10 mile best time of 109.09 at Hemel. Margaret now holds all the best times over the various distances for her age group apart from the marathon.

24th February 2002:Teresa Munns has established this year's first new club best time. Teresa's time of 1:41:38 for the Half Marathon at  Brighton was a new LV50 best for the distance and an improvement of over 5 minutes on the previous best of 1:46:48 which was set by Deirdre Bethune at Stevenage in November 2001.

December 2001: Three new club best times were set in the Gt Barford Half Marathon. Morgan Walters time of 1:17:05 established a new mv40 for the distance. Veronica Singleton improved the lv40 best time by over seven minutes to 1:34:44. The previous lv40 record of 1:42:09 had been set by Christine Armstrong at Yarmouth in 1999. David Sutcliffe set a new mv65 best time of 1:38:46. David's time was a four minute improvement on the previous best time of 1:42:45 which was set by David at Ramsey in 1999.

December 2001: Julia Phillips (Lv35) and Veronica Singleton (lv40) both set new ladies club 5k best times at Stevenage. Julia's time of 19:46 was a 59 second improvement on the previous lv35 best time of 20:31 which was set by Avril Monmont at Cranfield in July 2001: Veronica's time of 20:40 was a 11 second improvement on the previous lv40 best time of 20:51 which was set by Veronica herself at Cranfield in 2000.

Nick's time of 1:12:32 knocked around a minute of the Harriers previous best for the Half Marathon of 1:13:19 which was set by Tony Barnes at Swansey in August 1996. Nicky Klabe ran 1:22:57 and knocked five and a half minutes of the club's previous ladies half marathon best of 1:28:00 which was set by Jeanette Cheatham at Stratford in 1989.
